Inspiring the Love of Dance

Adore Dance London - About Us

About Us

Adore Dance London is one of East London's leading dancing schools offering dance lessons for Adults & Children in East London.

What sets Adore Dance apart from other schools is the commitment to creating an inclusive atmosphere, offering the same level of professional training as some of the most prestigious schools, though without the elitist atmosphere which can put many off, especially those who do not see themselves fitting the mould of a typical dancer.

Classes are led by world professional dancer, Connor Taylor, a fully IDTA-qualified & experienced dance teacher, and his network of professional dancers.
Adore Dance is one of the few schools which are led by a professional dancer with professional dance teaching qualifications, meaning that all students, regardless of ability, can guarantee the highest quality teaching.

The emphasis is always on running fun & social classes, whilst still maintaining a high standard of technique. With our small class sizes, we encourage dancers to subtly push themselves and develop their confidence through industry-leading teaching & training—making new friends along the way!

& Co-Founder

Connor Taylor

Connor fell in love with dancing at the age of 8 at a local dance school in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. He soon started full-time training from just age 10 at Northern Ballet Academy, Leeds, where Connor formed his foundation & discipline to the art. At 16, he received a place to study a BA(Hons) degree in Professional Dance & Performance at the prestigious Central School of Ballet, London where he graduated in 2015. It was then he toured nationally working with globally renowned choreographers to perform across the UK, including New Adventures/Matthew Bourne, The Royal Opera House, Sadlers Wells & more. Then went on to spend his last year of experience at Alberta Ballet, Canada.

In 2016, Connor moved from the performing world into teaching, running Ballet & Jazz lessons for Adults & Children at Margaret Preedy Dance Studios in Maidstone, Kent. It was here Connor pursued his professional teaching qualifications through the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) in Ballet, Modern Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, Freestyle & Theatre Craft.

In 2021, Connor was thrilled to bring his wealth of experience to East London with the formation of Adore Dance London. Connor now teaches over 200 students each week including both group and private classes for everyday beginner dancers to professional Royal Ballet artists.

Joe Watson

Class Administrator & Co-Founder

As a third-generation dance studio owner, Joe grew up in a Dance school, but avoided the dancing itself altogether! Instead fascinated by the business side of dance.

As well as joining the tap class on Tuesday nights, Joe leads business operations for Adore Dance London and supports the teachers with the administration of the classes, so will probably be the one sending you the emails with the details.

Outside of dance, Joe runs Youth Clubs across East London, is a School Governor and works for a management consultancy.

Dance & Fitness Teacher

Lydia is a professional dancer and fitness instructor. Lydia’s passion for dance and movement began from a young age and led her to train as a professional dancer at Central School of Ballet.

After receiving her degree in Professional Dance and Performance, Lydia continued to pursue a career in dance and has been fortunate enough to work for stage and screen across the UK. The path of dance and movement naturally led Lydia to enter the fitness industry, specifically, Barre and Pilates inspired training, and she has now been providing classes for the past 5 years in studios and gyms across London.
