August Summer School


Suitable for girls & boys ages 6-16* and of all dancing ability, the Monday-Friday programme will cover fun introductions & development in Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz & Commercial dancing, as well as, interactive group learning & costume design in the classroom.


*5yrs+ for existing students

A fun & interactive experience, students work towards building their confidence, learning routines and making costumes for a small showcase performance to parents, friends & family on Friday afternoon. 

 

4-yrs & younger, stay tuned! Details coming soon.

Dates: 16th - 20th August

  • Mon-Thurs, 10am-4pm

  • Friday 10am-6pm (show day)

Prices:

  • £250 per child, 6-16yrs+

  • £225 per child, for existing students, 5-16yrs+

  • £1 per ticket charity donation for Friday's Friends & Family Fun Showcase

Results:

The main focus of Adore Dance's Summer School is "FUN"


Children will be exposed to lots of styles of dance including Classical Ballet, as well as, Modern Jazz & Commercial dancing.  

 

Qualified & experienced teachers will develop their confidence, independence and coordination; culminating in a fun, relaxed showcase to families at the end of the week.

Teachers:

  • Connor Taylor, Principle Teacher: An ex-pro Ballet Dancer with a BA(Hons) in Professional Dance & Performance, Connor has since specialised in teaching with a wealth of experience at all levels and IDTA teaching qualifications.

  • Lydia MacKenzie, Assistant Teacher: Lydia is a professional dancer & experienced teacher who has worked for stage and screen across the UK. 

  • Joe Watson, Activity Assistant: With years of experience running youth activities, Joe's passion for creating youth-led programming results in an interactive, hands-on & engaging learning experience for all ages.
